Stephanie Ridings

Stephanie makes theatre about subjects she finds hard to understand, which forces her to investigate further. These are usually quite difficult subjects, but ones we should be talking about. Stephanie makes these subjects accessible using dark humour, allowing the audience breathing space. She creates work for studio theatres and arts centres, and her work is accessible to a range of audiences.

In 2014, her project Unknown Male won the Peter Brook / Mark Marvin Award. In 2016, The Road to Huntsville won the Arts Award Voice Pick of the Fringe Award.
